I have designed this responsive fishing accessories webshop running on custom code.
I have participated in building a new version of a proprietary webshop engine running on custom code (PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript). I have reduced the time necessary for the sitebuilding process from 2 weeks to 2 days, I’ve developed a compatible responsive library for the engine, I’ve significally decreased the codebase and made it more uderstandable by cleaning it up, I’ve introduced modern techniques like HTML5 and CSS3, I’ve made the engine load in less than 1 second even with 20.000 products. Megapeca was the first website to use the new engine that hosted more than 50 webshops over the time.
