I have redesigned and modernised this website. Now it’s smaller, loads quicker, responsive, and SEO friendly.
My task was to rebuild the website from the ground up. The original website has accumulated 1.6 Gb of data over the years. I’ve reduced it to only 220 Mb, while the website still contains all the images, and it has even more features than the old one. Search engine optimisation was another priority, alongside with making the whole site responsive. I’ve set up some heavy caching to make it load very quickly.
The site was built with WordPress and the Elementor plugin for responsive layouts. The base theme is yet again GeneratePress. The images were batch processed in GIMP.
